1. Introduction

This policy explains how 1Football Prediction collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website or buy our products. We are the data controller, and you can reach us at info.ai.football@gmail.com. We handle personal data in line with UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

2. What we collect

• Information you give us — such as your name and email address when you make a purchase or contact us.
• Cart and checkout information: the email address you enter on the cart page, the products in your cart and the cart total, including when you start checkout but do not complete payment.
• Payment information — payments are processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of your order but we do not store your full card details.
• Usage data — basic technical and analytics information (for example pages visited and device/browser type) that helps us run and improve the site.

3. How we use your data

• To process your order and deliver the product you purchased.
• To provide customer support and respond to your messages.
• To operate, secure and improve the website.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
• To send cart reminder emails (see below).

Free football tips newsletter

If you subscribe, we use your email address to send a confirmation link and, once you confirm, free football tips. We record your consent wording, request date and confirmation date in Supabase. Resend delivers the confirmation email and manages our confirmed newsletter audience. We use a short-lived, hashed network identifier to limit repeated signup requests. Unconfirmed requests expire after 24 hours and are periodically removed after seven further days. You can unsubscribe through the link in every newsletter. We retain the consent and unsubscribe record to respect your preference and demonstrate consent. Newsletter signup is optional and separate from buying a product. Contact us to ask about access to or deletion of your information.

Cart reminder emails

If you start checkout but do not complete payment, we may send you up to two emails about the items in your cart: one about an hour later and a final one about 24 hours later, which may include a discount code. Each email links back to your saved checkout.

• You can say no before checkout by ticking the opt-out box on the cart page.
• Every reminder email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Once you unsubscribe, we stop immediately.
• Reminders stop automatically as soon as you complete your purchase.
• We keep a record of unsubscribed email addresses only so we can make sure you are not emailed again.

4. Legal bases

We rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver products you buy), our legitimate interests (to run and improve the site and prevent fraud), your consent (where required, for example certain cookies), and compliance with legal obligations. We send cart reminder emails under our legitimate interests and the "soft opt-in" rule in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), which allows us to email people about our own similar products after they have shown interest in buying, as long as they are given a simple way to opt out when their email is collected and in every message.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers we need to run the business — for example our payment processor, hosting provider, database provider, email tools and website analytics. These providers process data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal data. We may also disclose information where required by law.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to understand how it's used. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

7. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info.ai.football@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

9. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.

10. Children

Our website and products are intended for adults aged 18 and over and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
